I'm Leah.

I'm a Physical Therapist and a mom of 1 little girl (with another on the way). I have my doctorate in Physical Therapy and specialize in pediatrics. I have always had a passion for helping others, especially children, and my job as a physical therapist allows me to pursue that passion and make a positive impact on children and their families.

I started The PT Parent in February 2022 after I made the decision to stay home full time to be with my daughter. The PT Parent allows me a way to continue to help parents and their children through education, developmental play ideas, product recommendations and so much more. The main goal is to provide developmental education and ideas as well as share my experiences and knowledge as a mom, who also happens to be a physical therapist!
